The Horus

Class: Dark Mage

Race: Human

Status: Public Enemy Number One

Known Members: Ammut, Anubis, Ra, Ammit

The Horus is a global terrorist mage cell founded by Arthur Redding, an ex I.A.M. operative from the British division. Its members have assumed new identities as The Horus: Redding’s alias is Ra, as well as unidentified members Anubis, Ammit, Ammut. The Horus have chosen to emulate ancient Egyptian Gods, who they claim to be their ancestors although there is currently no evidence to substantiate that claim. Once merely a group of radical protesters responsible for small demonstrations across the United Kingdom, The Horus are now linked to several terrorist attacks in Europe, North America and Asia. They are responsible for thousands of civilian casualties.

The Horus operates as a network whose sole purpose is world destruction and domination. They have no known political agendas or religious preference. Their mission is simply to annihilate mankind and Regulars worldwide. The Horus has been designated as a terrorist organization by the United Nations Security Council, NATO, the European Union, the United States Government and Military, Russia, India and several other countries. They have attacked civilian and military targets in various countries, including the recent attack in London, England that left 786 dead and thousands wounded. The Horus are still at large and are the most sought after international fugitives in history, with 23 countries united in their search for the terrorists.

Return

Ecion

Class: Magic Entity

Race: Unknown

To this day, very little is known about Ecion aside from their apparent physical qualities. They are tree like creatures whose limbs resemble tree branches, their wood-like texture making them extremely resilient in battle. They grow in a variety of shapes and sizes and naturally emanate a putrid odor. They are also masters of disguise, and possess the unique ability to mimic human form in order to blend into society. They are also rumored to have created an intricate hidden portal system across the world which only Ecion can access. There are documented sightings of Ecion that date back to the early 1940’s.

In order to learn more about the Ecion race, extensive research has been conducted by the I.A.M. on Ecion captives but has yielded little to no results. The Ecion are a fiercely loyal, protective race with a deep disdain for humans and magical beings alike. They are uncooperative, and refuse to provide any information to human or magical policing agencies. There is no predilection for their motives or agendas. In recent history, they have been branded enemies by the United States government and other world leaders due to their involvement in the attack on The House of Parliament in London, England by The Horus.

// History of the IAM

Magical intelligence has been an integral part of the United States government since the days of World War II, when the first magical related crime was documented. Throughout the years, magical intelligence has been practiced by every policing agency in the world to some degree, and is responsible for saving the lives of millions of people.

It was not until the kidnapping of President Benjamin Shepard’s daughter Grace in 2005 by a magical terrorist cell that governing laws for magical use were created. A magical crime of that magnitude had never occurred in human history. General Embry Eskyll discovered the truth serum which ultimately led to capturing the cell responsible and rescuing Grace. With the threat of more magical related terrorist attacks looming, the President recognized the urgent need for a magical policing agency. Shepard and other international leaders wanted to create an agency that would be independent of any of the policymaking branches of government to avoid political agendas and corruption.

With the assistance of the Mage Society of America and General Embry Eskyll, Shepard and his cabinet hammered out details of the new agency. Accommodating the views of US military services, the State Department, the CIA and the FBI, Shepard established the International Agency of Magic in January, 2006. General Eskyll was appointed as the first Chief of the I.A.M.

With highly trained agents and divisions all over the world, magical crimes have dropped dramatically since the Agency’s inception. Integrating the latest government technology and security systems and coupling them with expert magical combat tactic training, The International Agency of Magic serves as the global leader in magical security.
